At Argo & Lehne we are finishing this month and starting next with an emphasis on self care, starting here – in the store! I suppose it is a practice what you preach scenario. 😉

With the past two years being a complete whirlwind, the pandemic has taught us to do business in many ways that we were previously unaccustomed. We have weathered the storms of short staffing, felt the pressure of hiring difficulties, have worked endless hours and through it all we have had a steadfast team that makes things happen – our graceful swans with hardworking feet underwater propelling our business forward.

More than ever we want to break out of the winter/pandemic hibernation rut and jump into spring! And many are taking that step forward in bright looks using color and metal while staying steadfast to natural elements and softer styles. All this isolation has really pulled us all into a simpler way of being. Fashion has gone au naturale but by no means does that mean we aren’t having fun! (more…)

The Chicago River runs green on St. Patrick’s Day!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Green is the color of the day – the wearing of the green, shamrocks, green beer, a river of green, etc. I’m not Irish, but after visiting Ireland a few years ago, I feel a kinship with and affection for that beautiful country and its people, and a new appreciation for their national holiday. And I’m wearing green!
