A local woman brought us her grandmother’s platinum diamond ring from the 1920’s. She had just inherited it but it was very worn. It was clear she didn’t want to repurpose the diamonds in a new piece of jewelry. The original ring had meant so much to her grandmother & now therefore to her – the sentimental value was immeasurable.

This ring was no exception to the common ailments of an older piece. Filigree work may be worn away leaving open areas, shanks thin & bent out of shape, prongs worn or non-existent and engraved pattern work worn smooth. Our jeweler inspects each piece & we give you a quote before we begin restoration.
