The Collage of Women Artists Exhibit

We’re especially excited about our next Art at Argo’s exhibition, as it brings together two things we have always cherished at Argo & Lehne: art and community. From October 1, 2026 through January 2, 2027, we’ll welcome the Collage of Women Artists, a talented group of women working in a wonderful variety of mediums, styles, and creative voices. We hope you’ll come in, take your time looking at the work, and perhaps discover a new favorite artist along the way.

The Collage of Women Artists has been creating and exhibiting together for more than three decades. It began in 1992 as the C. Curry Painting Group, formed by students of artist Christiane Curry. Its founding purpose was—and remains—to help each member grow artistically and to create and show together. In 1997, the group became the Collage of Women Artists, a name that better reflected the varied backgrounds and talents of its members. Today, the invitation-only group has 32 active members who meet monthly to visit exhibitions, gather in artists’ studios, exchange ideas, and simply encourage one another in the pursuit of art.
As the Argo family, we’ve always felt that jewelry and art belong in the same conversation. Both begin with an idea and take shape through creativity, craftsmanship, color, texture, and a deeply personal point of view. Just as every piece of jewelry has its own character, every artist sees and interprets the world in her own way. We love that this exhibition brings so many individual perspectives together—creating, in a very literal sense, a collage of women artists.
We’d love for you to join us for our Opening Reception on Thursday, October 15, from 5–7 p.m. Come meet members of the Collage of Women Artists, enjoy the exhibit, and spend a little time with us celebrating the creativity and community behind it.
