Jenna & Kate – 11.2.2019
Jewelry from Argo: Jenna’s ring set and Kate’s wedding band.
Theme: Festive Fall Warmth – a beautiful November wedding that was not tied to a particular holiday but seasonal, welcoming, and romantic.
Venue: The Boat House at Confluence Park
“We selected The Boat House because we thought it would be absolutely perfect for a November wedding. Because we had a lot of Kate’s family coming in from Chicago, we wanted a venue that was close to the Short North, Downtown, and Ohio State University. The view of downtown from the Buckeye Room at The Boat House is unbelievable!”
Something Borrowed?
“Yes! Jenna borrowed gorgeous pearl and diamond earrings from Argo & Lehne.”
Wedding Gowns: BHLDN
“We love that both bride’s selected their gowns without knowing what each other picked and how uncanny that the dresses were SO similar. Gorgeous!”
Florist: The Paper Daisy Flower Boutique
“We cannot say enough about this florist! They were able to work with our budget and executed our vision perfectly.”
Photography: Amy Rebecca Photography
“Hands down, Amy is the best photographer we have ever worked with. She is extremely professional and ran everything on our wedding day, allowing us to enjoy and be present in every moment.”
Hair Stylist: Adam B Studio
“Adam was our top stylist for the day as his work is impeccable! He worked wonderfully with our style vision and make sure each hair style would last the day.”
The Caterer: The Boat House at Confluence Park
“Jenna and her family have spent several Mother’s Day brunches at the Boat House, so we knew we were in good hands. The catering staff was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious!”
Cake: The Original Goodie Shop
“We chose the The Original Goodie Shop to make our wedding cake (and other desserts) because Jenna used to work in their bakery! The Goodie Shop has been a staple in Upper Arlington for decades and always produces top notch products. We were extremely pleased with how our cake and other desserts turned out.”

- Peabody Papers designed our invitation suite, escort cards, favor stickers, and thank you cards. They were amazing and everything turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined.
- Buckeye Entertainment is the company we used to hire our DJ, Josh CIanca. Josh was extremely professional and took note of every detail that we wanted to include in our reception. He made the evening run smoothly and was flexible if the schedule needed to be adapted in real time.
Special touches to your wedding that you are so glad you incorporated?
“Kate and I met when we were both in a production of Ragtime with Gallery Players. This show means so much to us not only because it marked the beginning of our story but because the message of the piece is extremely relevant to the challenges our society faces today. With this in mind, Kate asked her friend to compose a medley from Ragtime which he performed prior to our processional. It meant the world to us to have this be a part of our day.”
“One of our dear friends is quite crafty and recently got into macramé. She offered to help us make something for the wedding. We decided on macramé mason jars for our center pieces with pillar candles. She taught us both how to macramé as well so we could all work on this project together. Kate’s mother, also a macramé enthusiast, lovingly macramé-ed two large mason jars that would eventually hold our bridal bouquets at our reception. We were so happy with how everything turned out! We enjoyed the bonding experience the project provided and the jars looked absolutely beautiful.”
